Next Steps

Often teachers and parents are the first to recognise signs of emotional and behavioural difficulties in children and are concerned as to how best to support them.

Good communication between all of the adults involved in the child’s life is essential to achieve the best results. if you are unsure about anything, have concerns or questions or would like more information, please do not hesitate to ask.

Although the sessions will be enjoyable for the child, it is also likely that during the time with me, the child will face some important issues and emotions.

What Happens Next?

A social and emotional questionnaire will measure the child before and at the end of the therapy.

The therapist will take continuous process notes on the child in the room.

There will be a mid-review with the parent and teacher / SENCO

Recommendations will be discussed with all adults involved.

A final end report will be written with all assessments correlated and information on your child’s progression.
